The Wilderness Test of God - Chatroom Teaching

The Wilderness Test of God

By Byron Burke led by the Holy Spirit

Greetings Saints:

There are many times when we are called to do something and then there is a change in the program to throw us off course. This teaching will help Pastors, and members of the body of Christ.

All members of the body of Christ must go through and pass the wilderness test (Jesus did) to see the blessing (the anointing) of the Lord to manifest into your lives. God will not bring you into the blessings that you are seeking until you pass His test. You can go throughout the bible and see that God tested people before He blessed them. If God tested His own son, do you think we will be tested? Are you a child of God? You will be tested on:

1. How to hear the voice of God.
2. Speak the word of God given to you by the Holy Spirit.
3. Overcome the desires of your flesh.
4. Overcome satanic thoughts, words, visions and dreams that attack your mind
5. Understand that Satan attacks you in your weak area.
6. Face your fears and learn how to overcome them.
7. Learn where your true power is and how to tap into it.
8. How love overcomes fear and brings you into the abundance of joy, love, great health, success, money winning souls to Christ and be a blessing to the world.

These are just a few examples that you will go through in your wilderness test.

Lets get into this teaching.......

Apostlebb1: Matt 4:1 THEN JESUS was led (guided) by the [Holy] Spirit into the wilderness (desert) to be tempted (tested and tried) by the devil.

Apostlebb1: hello
Godschosenoneclp: I don't hear you
apostlebb1:
apostlebb1: I'll just type
godschosenoneclp: ok
apostlebb1: So just like I'm in the process of teaching
apostlebb1: I'm being tested
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: to not get mad that my computer is messing up
apostlebb1: and to stay to the plan that God has set
apostlebb1: Many times we have things planned
apostlebb1: then something shows up to knock us off course
apostlebb1: in the case this evening
apostlebb1: You will not be able to hear my voice in this chartroom
apostlebb1: but the word of God will be heard loud and clear.
apostlebb1: Amen
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: So you must know
apostlebb1: For God to promote you
apostlebb1: You must pass His wilderness test
apostlebb1: and stand in love during the test
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: and stand on the word of God
apostlebb1: no matter what it looks like
apostlebb1: Amen
apostlebb1: now lets look at the next scripture
apostlebb1: Matt 4:2 And He went without food for forty days and forty nights, and later He was hungry.
apostlebb1: As you can see, Jesus went without for 40 days
apostlebb1: he lacked food
apostlebb1: so that was part of his test
apostlebb1: now take a look at your life
apostlebb1: what are you lacking
apostlebb1: that you need
apostlebb1: but God is putting you through a test
apostlebb1: to see if you are going to stand on his word
apostlebb1: are you lacking love
apostlebb1: money
apostlebb1: your children
apostlebb1: friends
apostlebb1: happiness
apostlebb1: health
apostlebb1: that job promotion
apostlebb1: your relationship with your HUSBAND (MALE) OR WIFE (FEMALE)
apostlebb1: car
apostlebb1: now watch this
apostlebb1: where you are lacking something
apostlebb1: you must put the word of God there
apostlebb1: Matt 4:3 And the tempter came and said to Him, If You are God's Son, command these stones to be made [loaves of] bread.
apostlebb1: Matt 4:4 But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live {and} be upheld {and} sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
apostlebb1: so where you are lacking something
apostlebb1: you must put the word of God there
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: If not, Satan can come and mess with you
apostlebb1: Let’s think about this for a second.......
apostlebb1: if you could not eat food for 8 days
apostlebb1: how would your body feel?
godschosenoneclp: deprived
godschosenoneclp: weak
apostlebb1: Then this person comes along and presents you something that looks good to eat
apostlebb1: will you run to it and eat it
apostlebb1: But God gave you instructions to wait 8 days
godschosenoneclp: no
godschosenoneclp: I hope not
apostlebb1: So as you can see Satan presented Him a suggestion about turning the stones into food when he was weak
apostlebb1: So Satan will present us things in the area where we are weak
apostlebb1: to get us off the things of God
apostlebb1: so let move on to the next test
apostlebb1: Matt 4:5 Then the devil took Him into the holy city and placed Him on a turret (pinnacle, gable) of the temple sanctuary.
apostlebb1: Matt 4:6 And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, He will give His angels charge over you, and they will bear you up on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
apostlebb1: Now look at this
apostlebb1: Look at what Satan said
apostlebb1: And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written
apostlebb1: Satan knows the word of God
godschosenoneclp: that he does
apostlebb1: and Satan will test you to see if you know the word
apostlebb1: and if you will stand on the word
apostlebb1: and look at what Jesus said
apostlebb1: Matt 4:7 Jesus said to him, On the other hand, it is written also, You shall not tempt, test thoroughly, {or} try exceedingly the Lord your God.
apostlebb1: Many people never walk in their calling because of fear
apostlebb1: and they worry about how much of the bible they know
apostlebb1: but I want you to look at something
apostlebb1: Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness {and} unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned {and} untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
apostlebb1: I haven’t been to school to learn the word of God, For the Holy Spirit has been my teacher and leading me into the things of God.
apostlebb1: Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit to the wilderness to be tested by Satan
apostlebb1: when He was weak
apostlebb1: not strong
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: So when God calls you to start the work
apostlebb1: you are not strong in the word
apostlebb1: But the spirit of fear will test you to not walk in your calling
apostlebb1: are you getting this
godschosenoneclp: yes I hear you
apostlebb1: As I'm talking to you ,the Holy Spirit is giving me revelation
apostlebb1: and that's what you want
apostlebb1: you need the revelation behind the word of God
apostlebb1: that's the power
godschosenoneclp: yes
apostlebb1: and that will take you to the next level
apostlebb1: So Satan will send a counterfeit to see if you are working off your own knowledge
apostlebb1: or the knowledge
apostlebb1: of God
apostlebb1: you see if the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the Wilderness
apostlebb1: then the Holy Spirit had to be with Him in the wilderness
apostlebb1: and the Holy Spirit gave Jesus the words to use against Satan
apostlebb1: when he was weak
apostlebb1: as it is written
apostlebb1: Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
apostlebb1: The Holy Spirit is our coach
apostlebb1: when things are not working out
apostlebb1: we have to go to our coach
apostlebb1: The Holy Ghost
apostlebb1: He knows how to deal with the enemy
apostlebb1: and this is another thing to look at
apostlebb1: we gave our life to Jesus
apostlebb1: and we have to walk in His ways
apostlebb1: but this is the interesting part
apostlebb1: Jesus knew he was weak
apostlebb1: and many of us think that we are strong
apostlebb1: this is really deep
apostlebb1: Jesus was weak
apostlebb1: and we go to church and gave our life to some one that is weak
apostlebb1: but let me show you through Jesus being weak
apostlebb1: was very strong
apostlebb1: He knew the Power was with God
apostlebb1: and He did as the Father told him
apostlebb1: John 5:30 I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord--but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek {or} consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will {and} pleasure of the Father Who sent Me.
apostlebb1: look at this...
apostlebb1: As the voice comes to Me
apostlebb1: As the voice comes to Me
apostlebb1: As the voice comes to Me
apostlebb1: are you with me so far
godschosenoneclp: yes
raisedtopraise: yes
apostlebb1: Jesus was weak
apostlebb1: So God could come up strong
apostlebb1: and Jesus kept giving all the power and glory to God
apostlebb1: not himself
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: or Satan
apostlebb1: now look at this
apostlebb1: You remember that Satan made a comment about knowing the word of God
godschosenoneclp: yes
raisedtopraise: yes
apostlebb1: Matt 4:6 And he said to Him, If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written, He will give His angels charge over you, and they will bear you up on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.
apostlebb1: Satan told Jesus
apostlebb1: that was the Son of God
apostlebb1: that He knew the word
apostlebb1: of God
apostlebb1: now watch this
apostlebb1: He told on himself
apostlebb1: and he got checked
apostlebb1: Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
apostlebb1: Matthew 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
godschosenoneclp: lie from the pit of hell
apostlebb1: now look at this
godschosenoneclp: Not satins to give to begin with
apostlebb1: Satan saw that Jesus knew the word of God
apostlebb1: So Satan wanted to try and get Jesus to serve him
apostlebb1: now look at this
apostlebb1: Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
apostlebb1: Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: When you tell Satan that...
apostlebb1: Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
apostlebb1: every satanic force will leave you alone
apostlebb1: if it worked for Jesus
apostlebb1: it will work for you
apostlebb1: because that's what God told Jesus
apostlebb1: and that's what God wrote in the book of deut
apostlebb1: and after Satan left
apostlebb1: The angels came to Jesus and ministered to Him
apostlebb1: Jesus was a Prophet
apostlebb1: A High Priest
apostlebb1: An Apostle
apostlebb1: A teacher
apostlebb1: A preacher
apostlebb1: and He gave us instructions on how to walk in the anointing of God
apostlebb1: and that is this
apostlebb1: Do as the voice of the Lord tells you
apostlebb1: and you will walk into the things that God has for you
apostlebb1: and as a Prophet, Apostle, Teacher and Preacher
apostlebb1: God has given me the rights to speak as He leads me
godschosenoneclp: amen
apostlebb1: I'll say that Lord
apostlebb1: Your wilderness days are over
apostlebb1: thus said the Lord
apostlebb1: YOU ARE COMING OUT OF THAT LOW PLACE
apostlebb1: FOR YOU HAVE THE POWER
apostlebb1: IN THE WORD OF GOD
apostlebb1: AND THE WORD IS GOD
apostlebb1: AND THE WORD OF GOD IS ON THE INSIDE OF YOU
apostlebb1: AND IN YOUR MOMENT OF WEAKNESS
apostlebb1: YOU SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD OUT OF YOUR MOUTH
apostlebb1: AND ALL HELL WILL RUN AWAY FROM YOU
apostlebb1: FOR THE WORD OF GOD HAS POWER
apostlebb1: AND IT IS ANOINTED
apostlebb1: AND GOD HAS GIVEN YOU THE WORDS TO USE IN ALL YOUR BATTLES
apostlebb1: FOR THE BATTLE IS A WORD BATTLE
apostlebb1: AND GOD'S WORDS ARE THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE
apostlebb1: AND WHEN THE TEMPTER COMES
apostlebb1: YOU SHUT HIM DOWN WITH THE WORD OF GOD
apostlebb1: FOR HE WILL FLEE
apostlebb1: AND RUN LIKE A DOG AS HE IS
apostlebb1: GLORY BE TO GOD
apostlebb1: IN YOUR WEAKNESS
apostlebb1: IS YOUR STRENGTH
apostlebb1: FOR GOD'S WORD WILL BRING YOU OUT OF EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT OF GOD
apostlebb1: SO RECEIEVE THE WORD OF GOD FROM HIS PROPHET
apostlebb1: EVERYTIME THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN THE LAND
apostlebb1: GOD ALWAYS SENT A PROPHET OUT
apostlebb1: TO TELL THE PEOPLE WHAT GOD IS SAYING
apostlebb1: AND WHAT HAS TO BE DONE
apostlebb1: AND WHEN YOU MOVE ON THAT WORD GIVEN
apostlebb1: YOU WILL WALK INTO THE BLESSINGS AND PROTECTION THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU
apostlebb1: FOR THAT PROPHET MUST GIVE THE WORDS THAT GOD TELLS THAT MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD
apostlebb1: SO THAT WILL BE PLANTED INTO YOUR SPIRIT
apostlebb1: AND WHEN YOU ARE ALONE
apostlebb1: YOU CAN HEAR GOD'S VOICE FOR YOURSELF
apostlebb1: AND THEN YOU INFORM OTHERS HOW TO DO THE SAME
apostlebb1: AS THE GREAT COMMISSION WAS WRITTEN
apostlebb1: Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
apostlebb1: Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
apostlebb1: Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
apostlebb1: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you
apostlebb1: NOT SOMETHINGS
apostlebb1: BUT ALL THINGS
apostlebb1: AND WHEN WE DO ALL THINGS THAT GOD TELLS US
apostlebb1: THEN WE WILL PASS FROM THE WILDERNESS
apostlebb1: TO THE WEALTHY PLACE
apostlebb1: Deuteronomy 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
apostlebb1: WE ARE ON THE INTERNET
godschosenoneclp: that we are
apostlebb1: AND THE INTERNET GOES ALL AROUND THE WORLD
apostlebb1: AND JESUS SAID
apostlebb1: Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
apostlebb1: WHAT IS STOPPING YOU FROM DOING THAT
godschosenoneclp: fear
apostlebb1: 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
apostlebb1: FEAR IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST TOOLS OF SATAN
apostlebb1: SO WHERE FEAR IS
apostlebb1: YOU PUT GOD THERE
apostlebb1: 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
apostlebb1: 1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
apostlebb1: SO TO CAST OUT SATAN
apostlebb1: AND FEAR
apostlebb1: YOU USE LOVE
apostlebb1: 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
apostlebb1: SO OUR LOVE HAS TO BE PERFECTED
godschosenoneclp: I know mine needs to be
godschosenoneclp: I need to learn more to love
apostlebb1: AND SATAN WANTS US TO WALK OUT OF LOVE
apostlebb1: THIS IS WHAT SATAN HAS BEEN DOING
apostlebb1: HELL THE LOVE OUT OF THEM
apostlebb1: AND WE MUST
apostlebb1: LOVE THE HELL OUT OF THEM
apostlebb1: AMEN
